Art Kits for Foster Kids 2024
Since 2020, we have filled 1400 backpacks full of art supplies for foster kids in Western Mass and we are at it again!
With over 3,000 kids in foster care, we need all the help we can get to get as many art kits to these incredible kids.
If you'd like to pitch in and help, here's how (please note that the more donations we get, the more we can buy in bulk).
We are grateful for whatever you can do to help us reach our goal.
Thank you!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Art Kits for Foster Kids
About Art Kits for Foster Kids
Art kits for Foster Kids are specially curated backpacks full of art supplies that are given to children in foster care. These kits typically include a variety of art materials such as crayons, colored pencils, markers, paint, brushes, sketchbooks, craft supplies and a teddy bear. The purpose of art kits for foster kids is to provide children with the tools and resources they need to explore their creativity, express themselves, and engage in artistic activities. Art kits for foster kids are designed to support their emotional well-being, encourage self-expression, and provide a positive outlet for their thoughts and feelings. Art kits for foster kids not only provide an avenue for creative expression but also promote therapeutic benefits. Engaging in art activities can help foster kids develop coping skills, enhance their self-esteem, and foster a sense of identity and belonging. These kits can make a meaningful difference in the lives of foster children by offering them a means of self-discovery, joy, and healing through artistic expression. We are partnered with the MSPCC who distributes Art Kits through social workers.
Where Do The Art Kits Go?
We have partnered with the MSPCC's Kid's Net Program Director, Amneris Feliciano, who will coordinate distribution with social workers with the MSPCC & DCF to give kits to foster children when they are removed from homes.
